The Dopoi Center is the home of the Maasai Education, Research, and Conservation Institute (MERC). Through MERC, we works towards realizing our vision of Maasai community that occupies its homeland as a distinct society, that welcomes all peoples who respect our culture, the wildlife and the land itself, and that has the economic security and political power to determine our own future. Maasai Scholarship Fund
This scholarship fund is directed by a committee of Maasai people who are accountable to their own community and to fair distribution. Its purpose is to foster future Maasai leaders. By providing access to education, the fund supports a broader vision of empowering the Maasai to thrive on their own terms.
Making a difference is a fundamental part of being human, especially when we have the resources to give. This initiative ensures that contributions translate into meaningful and lasting impact. The scholarship covers all essentials, including tuition, books, food, uniforms, transportation, and ongoing student support.
